80mm Performance Cold Air Induction Kit for BMW F Series 2.0 Diesel N47N / N47S1 Engines
Designed as a direct replacement for the restrictive standard airbox and paper filter found on the BMW N47 2.0 diesel engine. This kit combines an 80mm high-flow cone filter with a custom PA6-CF carbon fibre heatshield and charge pipe, engineered to maximise airflow while actively blocking heat soak from the engine bay. The heatshield mates directly onto the lower OEM airbox clips with no cutting, drilling or modifications required.
The carbon fibre construction keeps intake air temperatures low, which translates into real-world gains in BHP and torque. Expect sharper throttle response and a noticeably improved induction note over the standard setup.

Why PA6-CF carbon fibre?
The heatshield and charge pipe are manufactured from PA6-CF, a carbon fibre reinforced nylon used in motorsport and performance automotive applications. It has a continuous service temperature of 200°C, making it more than capable of handling sustained engine bay heat without warping, softening or degrading. Unlike plastic or fibreglass alternatives, it will not deform over time in close proximity to the engine, keeping the intake geometry consistent and your performance gains lasting.
